Gulets

Are you thinking of a Gulet Cruise? Its of course the perfect way to spend a sailing holiday in complete comfort and relax! The typical destination is Turkey, but you can charter a Gulet also in Greece and the Thyrrenian Sea, and Sole & Mare can help you to find the right accommodation for you! Gulets are attractive, traditional wooden vessels, equipped with motors and with sails and they vary from 16 to 35 m in length with accommodation for 8 to 14 guests in 4 to 7 cabins with double hotel like beds and private toilet.
They are hand-crafted from carefully chosen wood and can offer a standard or more luxurious accomodation, with high ceilings, wide corridors, spacious and airy interiors, air conditioning, ice machine,a large professional galley or kitchen, teak decks and a plenitude of cushioned lounging areas.
Gulets have a crew who plan the voyage, navigate and sail the ship and do all the work, including the cooking which may include the fresh catch of the day and cleaning.
A Gulet can be available both as Private Charterand as Cabin Charter. With a Private Charter you will have the whole gulet and its crew at your disposal with a decisive say in the itinerary and the activities.
With a Cabin Charter you and your partner can rent a master cabin and join other couples on your holiday! The term "gulet" is mostly used in Turkey. The Greek equivalent of Turkish gulets are known as caques, yet in general the term motorsailers is used.
